There was no "Big four" of R & B per se. That year however, Aretha Franklin and Diana Ross had hits on the charts as well as another newcomer Sade. I think Whitney Shined way brighter than any of those at the time. There are many talented singers but few you can't ignore. When Whitney sang, it would capture you. Also, her version of the Star Spangled Banner before the 91 Super Bowl is unanimously accepted as the best ever. Finally, I never knew Kerry King was in Megadeth. https://youtu.be/75KsWk
